Okay, so the post finally goes up… Hello Jewels, and welcome to my page.
Today’s post has taken me weeks to plan out and get everything together, and it is a blog collaboration with the multi-talented di.elle.ci. They have also created a post on this topic but theirs is centered on locations in the UK. Please head over to their blog here and show your support.I would also have their video embedded Here. This is the first time I’m rocking my natural hair on any of my blog posts, so I’m really excited. Please comment and let me know if you’d like to see it out a little more. I would also appreciate any handy natural hair tips I can get.

These sites shown in this post are not the most attractive site in Accra and their services may waver a little, but they are the sites I hand picked just for this post. This post has not been sponsored by any of the mentioned brands, and these are my honest thoughts and are not influenced by any external sources
To begin with, these images were not all taken on the same day but have been compiled over a number of weeks. The first place i visited was my favorite cafè, Vida e caffè. If you follow me on Instagram (@bijouxquibrillent), you’d have seen posts of me having some me time and planning my next line of action at Vida e caffè. There are so many vida e caffè branches in Accra, but the one I always visit is the one at Airport City, at the ground floor of the Stanbic heights building. They give you the warmest welcome when you enter and remember to say bye to you before leave, no matter who the customer is and how he or she is dressed. Plus, they serve you with your regular order immediately you take your seat if you have visited the place twice or more and ordered the same thing. This balls down to great customer service that would keep you loyal to their brand. I always get a really Hot cup of chocolate and depending on how hungry I am, I get a sandwich or any other pastry that looks appealing or I simply get everything packaged to go which usually takes less than 2 minutes. They are just great…:)

Our second hangout joint was the Lord of the wings. The name is very catchy to me (like Lord of the Rings) and that’s what got me to check them out in the first place. But it turned out that, Lord of the wings had one of the most beautiful scenery for photo shoots. It took them some time to serve our order, so I took the time for a well deserved OOTD photoshoot. They serve really expensive chicken wings, but I’m sure my chicken wings would taste much better than theirs’. So if you’re looking for a great place to take photos, relax and enjoy some drinks, I would recommend you visit Lord of the Wings. You can check out their website Here for more images of the building.

Oak Plaza Hotel poolside is also a great place to unwind. It is also a great place to get some work done if you’re tired of lying around in the house. Whenever I am able to pick myself up and go and sit at Oak Plaza, I find I am able to get 3x as much work done as I would have if I was home. And I find that really helpful. As you know, I am not only a Blogger, but I run an online shop, and I also work as PR for some brands around the world. So getting my tasks done, in a day gives me spare time to spend more time with my family and friends. You could also go for a swim if you get in the mood.
It was a little too cold for me to go swimming…

The last hangout joint was the cupcake boutique. I’ve been seeing some known faces like Afua rida and some other YouTubers taking Instagram shots at the boutique. But I guess you have to be a celebrity to get some hospitable treatment at this joint. It is just across the road from Bosphorus Restaurant at Labone, in Accra. They serve really tiny cupcakes for twice the price a regular cupcake and you must have a huge heart to stomach the treatment of their waitresses. It’s a really small building and you can only go in to place your order, then you’d have to eat your cupcakes outside. A little fresh air never hurt. The only thing I enjoyed was their Mango, strawberry smoothie, which was the only smoothie they seemed to have available on a public holiday. Anyway, a little tip for anyone who wants to pass by, all the cupcakes have special cupcake boutique generated names, so you might have to memorize them off the wall before you order. Nothing better to say about this place, Nothing at all.
I would rather recommend the BakeShop Classic if you’re in search of truly delicious and affordable cupcakes.
