What to do next

Once you have all the ingredients and tools you will be needing put the avocado and the honey together into a bowl. Mix the two ingredients together well until you have a paste like mixture. Rinse your face with warm water first and then gently pat dry. Your skin can absorb the vitamins in the mask when your skin is clean. Then use the paint brush to apply the mixture evenly onto your face. Let the mask sit for about ten minutes. When you are ready to remove the mask use the wash cloth to clean the mixture off your face.

The benefits of using Avocado and honey in a face mask

Both avocado and honey are loaded with vitamins that are great for your skin. Honey is easily absorbed into your skin and has natural anti bacterial qualities. This combo makes it easy for honey to clean deeply into your pores. Avocado is packed with oils that give your skin a wonderful resilience to damage and locks in moisture. Honey softens the bond between new skin cells and dead ones making it easier for new healthy skin to grow. These are some of the major reasons why this face mask works so well.

FYI:

I TRIED THIS RECIPE MYSELF BEFORE I SHARED….IT REALLY WORKED WONDERFULLY FOR MY SKIN. MY MARKS LEFT FROM THE ACNE OUT BREAK I HAD A FEW MONTHS BACK ARE GRADUALLY FADING AWAY, I PRAY THIS RECIPE HELPS YOU TOO. LET ME KNOW IF IT DID. ALSO I`LL COMMENT ON EACH AND EVERY COMMENT LEFT SO WE COULD STAY IN TOUCH MORE

Natural Honey Lemon Facial Scrub

  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 ½ tablespoons of sugar

Mix the ingredients in a small bowl. Apply the mixture to your face (careful not to get it in your eyes), neck and chest using a gentle, circular motions. After massaging the honey and lemon scrub into your skin for 60 seconds, rinse it off with warm water and blot your face dry with a clean towel.

Follow the honey and lemon facial scrub with your favorite moisturizer.
The natural honey-lemon facial scrub can be used on other areas of the body such as the hands, feet, elbows and knees. The ingredients contained in the facial scrub are all natural, so there’s no need to worry about harsh chemical additives.

Honey is a natural humectant that attracts and retains moisture. Olive oil provides moisturizing benefits to dry skin. The gentle sloughing action of sugar removes dead skin cells to reveal fresh, polished skin. Lemon juice acts as a natural toner and bleaching agent to help lighten dark spots on the skin.

FYI:

HONESTLY HAVEN`T TRIED THIS SCRUB OUT YET BUT I`M HOPING IT WOULD WORK JUST AS WELL AS THE FIRST RECIPE. LET ME KNOW IF ANYONE HAS ANY QUESTIONS OR COMMENTS…..

Hi Brittanie, Sorry I don't have a blog page to follow you or to ask you to follow me back. I am just a lady that happened upon your page while looking for natural face mask recipes. I first tried the natural honey /lemon facial scrub. During the scrub and then letting it remain on my face I could feel it doing its job. I had a slight cold tingle. After removing the scrub from my face and neck I was amazed at how refreshing and clean I felt. I immediately followed with the hydrating face mask. I applied that everywhere on my face except for the nostrils on my nose because I wasn't fond of the smell and wanted to be able to keep it on the full 10 minutes. With this mask I could feel a cool feeling on my face for the first 5 minutes ,but as it dried I could feel it tightening my face the cool feeling became a warm tingle. When I removed the mask I couldn't believe the softness of my face and neck. I will be using both of these recipes and want to thank you for taking the time to share them with me.
